Sydney is THREE!

We celebrated Sydney's 3rd birthday this year with lots of fun activities. She woke up the morning of her birthday to find a care bear and a balloon on our doorstep (courtesy of Nana and Poppy), which were a big hit. We made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and went out to dinner later that night.

That weekend we had a Tea Party celebration! I set up a tent (thanks to my friend Jill who also came to photograph the set up...as part of my ulterior motive of making a new party package to sell in our shop ;) and set up a couple tables for the kids underneath. Allie brought over some beautiful hydrangea blooms fresh from her garden, and an old college friend of mine, Heather from Sugar Pie Parties made the cake. It was a fun day with friends and family. The kids got to choose pink or purple "tea" (lemonade or kool aid), and we had tea sandwhiches (pbjs) and other snacks. After the tea, the kids had a blast playing with Baby Sylvie, chasing each other in the backyard, and playing in the sandbox. It was a happy celebration! Thanks to everyone who made it such fun!
