Outside

Thank goodness for Spring!! With the warmer weather we have been able to spend more time outdoors lately, which is just about the best place to be during this time of year. The picture above is from our hike at Pier Marquette with Ben's parents and his brother Scott and wife Christy. We borrowed my friend Rachel's backpack carrier thinking we'd need it for Sydney, but she preferred walking and actually kept up most of the time. It was a great hike on a great day with great people!

Today was a PERFECT day for flying a kite. Ben got home from work and found me in the back yard with the kids attempting to get one up in the air. I wasn't having much luck so we agreed that we needed to get out in the field behind our house. We grabbed the kids and went, Owen sans shoes, and Ben still in his work clothes. It worked and everyone got a turn to fly it!

Finally, Owen and Sydney thought it was GREAT when I pulled out their mickey table and let them eat lunch on the patio. Love Spring!
