Goodbye, dear friend










Tonight we said goodbye to our sweet Coosie. He was such a good cat. He always greeted us at the door, and made sure our laps were never cold. He was an opportunist - he would find any cozy spot you could think of and settle in for a nap. He was so patient with Owen, Sydney, and any of their friends. He was a great mouse hunter. He was HUGE. Some of my favorite moments are when I would read a story to Sydney in our rocking chair before bed and Atticus would jump up and join her on my lap. As she got bigger, the space got limited but it never stopped him. He was tough and strong, loyal and incredibly loving to the end. We all (Simon included) will miss him terribly and will never forget him and all the joy he brought to our lives. I know he was welcomed in heaven with loving arms, and warm laps (Grandma Flo, take good care of him for us!)

I am sad for your loss but know in your heart that you gave "coosie" an awesome home with great amounts of love! He could not have had a better life. Hang in there friend! love, Kathy
