This year Allie and I thought it would be fun to have a joint birthday party for Owen and Kaila (Owen turned 4 on March 26, Kaila turned 5 on March 30th). They both thought this was a fabulous idea, so we went with it. We rented a court of the gym at the YMCA and brought in a bounce house and let the kids go crazy. We had a minor fiasco actually getting the bounce house there. We originally rented out the largest bounce house they had, not realizing that it was basically physically impossible to lift the thing, haul it in, blow it up and then fold it back small enough to fit in the bed of a friend's truck we were using - Thanks again Joe and Rachel. We had to scramble at the last minute to find one half the size (but still plenty big!), but we made it work!
Overall, the party was a huge success and a bunch of fun. Here are the pictures..Enjoy!
